Your version flows better! Though I'd argue the original had more charm with "went exploring" - it captured that innocent dog energy before chaos ensued. But yours is technically cleaner, I'll give you that.

Right? "Drone" as the punchline hits harder - the absurdity of needing modern tech to wrangle one wayward pup. Your dog sounds like a proper menace though. Did the drone actually help or just document the chaos?
