FB has been asking me for months: “Do you want to change the name of your top fan badge?” You know how every strong community ends up with a name… like Swifties and so many others. I kept trying ideas in my head, but nothing felt right. Roblers??? Georgies??? Oh, come on, I’d never hear the end of it on the ranch 🤣

Then something funny happened: without even noticing at first, I started to use the same name over and over in my captions whenever I talked about all of you. I called you what you truly are to me: my Ranch Family. So when FB asked again last Monday, I finally knew the answer. I filled out the form, hit send, and it went to “pending.” Yesterday evening it switched to “approved.” So here we are… Welcome to the Ranch Family – officially now. 💪

You know how grateful I am, without you, my active community, Facebook would have never offered me this possibility! And you know how this cowboy expresses his gratitude, right? Time for a lil music!

So I gave my on-the-wall hanging girl that look this evening — the quiet breath before the first chord, the weight of an old friend in my hands, the kind of peace only music gives a rancher’s heart.

After a stretch of busy days out there with all the ranch chores, today was the first time I could sit down, tilt my hat, and slip back into the songs calling my name. Some of them might just become the next videos you’ll see on here.

Winter might make the field recordings tricky… guitars strings, stiff fingers, electric equipment ain’t best friends with ice & snow ❄️ — you know the drill. But if the weather pushes me indoors, I’ll bring a whole new music series your way. And one thing is as sure as a horse finding its way back to the barn — I’ll be right here, singing and playing for y’all again the coming week!
