Using a web client would work for all iOS users. I have a feeling this might end in a lawsuit. Us Bitcoin folks don’t take kindly to censorship and we won’t be silent about this.

I haven't done any comparison. All I presented to you was an answer for your question.
If my answer bothers you in any way, perhaps you shouldn't have asked from the beginning.
And I don't think Android is "better" than IOS, I just don't like it when a company has way too many restrictions on a product that I paid fully for. It is people such as yourself who support companies that are actually working hard against decentralized networks and hard money.
Don't go for Android but you need to leave Apple all together.
If you think the suggestion to use an Andr. App, to the question which IOS App one can use, would be a useful answer, then I can also no longer help.
