Do you think having a built-in LN wallet would help? Say, Damus has one and Iris has one, so they both can zap each other natively on LN.

For non-forgeable proof of LN payment, signed by both sender and receiver nostr participants, yes.

Trouble now is the LN wallet has the "proof of payment", and its impractical to ask the user to copy-paste it back to the nostr app, to emit the right events based on it.
