Irony is a subtle art. You have to hit on right the edge of two conflicting ideas, where the listener abruptly comes to realize they genuinely believe both, or that both are genuinely true.
I notice a lot of writers and thinkers can’t stand dealing with it. It’s a sharp tool for the powerless.
