I've always enjoyed movies and TV shows with female heroes. Princess Leia from Star Wars. Janna, Kelly, and Su-Lin from Blake's 7. Marion from Robin of Sherwood. Ripley and Vasquez from Aliens. Sarah Connor from Terminator (1 as much as 2). Anne Lewis from RoboCop. Melina from Total Recall. Trinity from The Matrix. All the smart, compassionate and - when required - arse-kicking female leads in 90s Star Trek, Farscape, and Firefly. Dana Scully in The X Files. Even Dr Quinn Medicine Woman.
