Leeloo from The Fifth Element. Two, Five, and Female Data from Dark Matter. Every female character in Game of Thrones. I could keeping spewing examples all day, but you get the point.

So for a long time, I was struggling to put my finger on why I was so unimpressed by characters like Rey from The Force Awakens, Tauriel in the bloated, cartoonish Hobbit trilogy, or the sad caricature of Galadriel in the epic turd that is Rings of Power.
