The idea of eternal conscious torment in hell is a doctrine invented by the Roman Catholic Church. I personally believe that unbelievers will fry for whatever amount of time is appropriate for their sins (God is a just god), and then they will probably be annihilated (i.e. cease to exist), which is for all eternity.

The idea that all souls are eternal comes from Platonism. According to Scripture only those who believe in the Messiah will live for eternity. So I don't think those in hell will also have an eternal existence.

Blah blah blah... The doctrine of eternal torment comes from the Old and New Testament. You don't know your bible. Try googleing Sheep and Goats for starters. When you do that come back and I may take the time to educate you further.

It appears I inappropriately cast my my pearls. Lord forgive me!

Stick your pearls up your ass. For chrissakes get a life...

Jesus warned this would happen. 😞

Jesus was an invention of the Roman Empire to suppress the Maccabee rebellion. Take a minute and reflect on reality.

Did the supposed virgin born son of a murderous bronze-age Israeli hill god save humanity from the fiery pit of hell? And if so, how?

Intelligent response.

Typical...
