It's pretty off-putting. There's one bot in particular that bothers people to set up a lightning address that I find particularly annoying. Like on one hand, yes, zaps are great, cool. On the other hand, Nostr is a lot to wrap your head around it and then to get hit with a bunch of bots saying, oh, you need to do this and that and this might be confusing to a new user.
