Can nostr relays store large files? Or would integration with #IPFS be a better option?

There's a small margin on AWS S3 pricing. I expect they've done some maths and are expecting lowish bandwidth use and spreading the cost of data transfer across users.

Probably better to integrate with IPFS. For simplicity you could use Filebase
