Boomers have failed us.
As progenitors of both X (slacker) and Y (millennial) generations, their dominant influence (by shear numbers) has eclipsed our own for too many years. Even today, 80yo boomers refuse to stand down.
Under the watch of this over-represented generation, the promise of a “free internet” has been lost to “big govt” and “big corp” interests. Only RECENTLY, have our generations (along with gen Z) BEGUN to overcome the “boomer inertia”. Working together, we are asserting control and reclaiming the long overdue promise of sovereignty online.
Nostr IS sovereignty.
Nostr is OUR promise.
Boomers need NOT apply.
Actually it's their parents that failed us, and it was predictable as the 4th Turning points out.

I’m referring to the dominant influence boomers have had for decades, and their failure to “protect” freedoms online as the internet was in its infancy.
But yea. Every parent has failed their children. What’s the 4th turning?
