Correct. I just see a lot of people calling those also zaps.

👍 Perhaps there is a privacy element to LN in profile.

LN tip is good

Leads to confusion.

Already well established devs are telling people "just get a LN address so I can zap you".

That's setting up newbies for disaster. First, they'll get confused and frustrated if their current LN Address isn't working. Second, they'll equate sending and receiving sats with zapping -- which is public, linked to your pubkey, and can be faked. CBDC-lite.
