Doesn’t look like zaplife is picking up all zaps. Specifically those on profiles. Just zapped a few people and didn’t see them there. So that means there are even more sats flying around lol.

Lightning icon profile is not a zap. As I understand zap is only on notes, and is a specific event detected by nostr. https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/blob/master/57.md

Leads to confusion.

Already well established devs are telling people "just get a LN address so I can zap you".

That's setting up newbies for disaster. First, they'll get confused and frustrated if their current LN Address isn't working. Second, they'll equate sending and receiving sats with zapping -- which is public, linked to your pubkey, and can be faked. CBDC-lite.
