Honestly I don’t really know, that’s why I posted a photo of me pointing to it 🤷♀️ because I figured there would be some fitness person that would tell me if I’m not even pointing at my hip flexor 😂
Try these stretches. Gently! See if any hit the spot a little better than the stretches you’ve been doing.

I had a massage today and my therapist said it’s simple name is in fact “hip flexor”, but it’s Latin term is the "iliopsoas," which itself is a combination of two muscles: the "iliacus" and the "psoas major."
