Anyone infuse oils around here?

I am trying to infuse oil for the first time. I am using nettle for it.

I don't have a double boiler so I'm attempting an instant pot on sous vide.

How dumb is this idea?

I've done this many times. It just needs to be in a warm place. I put mine in the back of the dehydrator on the lowest setting for two days.

Not yet either. I may try it with nettle. It is the most abundant right now.

Great thinking, doesn't seem to be any different the sticking the glass jar in a pot as a "double broiler". Might try this with my instant pot at some point.

What is the benefit of a nettle infused oil? There are no nettles where I live.
