First phase of friend's/ customer's solar project done and been running for the last week! Best part is after the first full day of the system being online they haven't had to run their generator! We're starting on Monday to add the third and final array for their system. We will also double their batteries and bring their system online so that my husband can help monitor their system since they are also friends.

Ok, never heard of that. Please explain more, like what's in it and the process? I'm super curious as we love peaches and I'm looking at buying a box soon for canning. My husband grew up on a peach orchard, so he won't touch the store canned ones.

Donkey update!
We were coming home just after the sun set and they were on our road coming in. They got scared by the lights and car. I called out to them and they stopped running.
We talked to them from the car to help calm them down a bit. Jokingly told them that if they wanted waterto follow us back, we were about a half a mile from our property. We got back to our property and about 10 minutes later they walked up! We got them some water and gave them pets and they left to go bed down for the night.

We're in open range so who knows but we do have water for them so hoping they come back. Particularly if we have fencing up and they aren't claimed after we talk with the livestock commissioner.
They are super sweet, they came for three days but haven't come back for the last three. Hoping they're just hunkered down from the rain.
Got about 3/4 of an inch of rain and some cooler temps last night. Grateful that we didn't get any of the severe flash flooding that the Grand Canyon and Vegas had last night. We had some periods of intense rain, the dirt roads are slick with clay and the wash is running this morning. We are definitely are learning to drive in this slick clay, it's nothing like anything we grew up with and sticks like crazy. We'll be getting mud tires for our f350 soonest, just so we can get in and out of our property and we have a decent road compared to many of the other roads in the area.

Probably not this year, too many projects with just moving onto raw land in the last year. Eventually I'd love to be able to do some natural dyeing.
