This reminds me of the scene towards the end of Band of Brothers where — I think it was the Dutch or maybe in Austria — the towns people shaved the heads of all the women who slept with the German soldiers. Of course in that scene the women were mostly upset about it and being forced to do it. Now they just volunteer to do it.
