Is it normal, that I can't add a peer/channel which only has a TOR address (as in case of Start9 Embassy) ?

The error message displayed tells me the address can't be resolved or smth...

Well, it did work via orbot. Now I have a private channel to my partner node.

Unfortunately it shows as inactive from both sides (uptime is null).

Can it be fixed somehow? nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5

You need to keep Orbot running if you want to maintain the connection

For how long exactly? I keep refreshing for at least half an hour on the phone now 🤔

It shouldn’t take long. Sounds like there may be another issue between the nodes.
