It will work with Orbot

Well, it did work via orbot. Now I have a private channel to my partner node.

Unfortunately it shows as inactive from both sides (uptime is null).

You need to keep Orbot running if you want to maintain the connection

For how long exactly? I keep refreshing for at least half an hour on the phone now 🤔

It shouldn’t take long. Sounds like there may be another issue between the nodes.
