Woke left = when empathy narcissists discover statism.
Woke right = when lonesome psychopaths discover collectivism.

You have the woke issue in Germany. You scumbag agitator.

Woke right isnāt a thing
Every political side has self-righteous assholes in full delusion so Iād say it is a thing
Iām saying the premise isnāt correct. The reason people started getting labeled woke right is for being critical of employment visa programs and for calling out Israelās influence on the American government.
Itās more or less an ad hominem attack from people who donāt like that people are calling those things out.
Itās a way of discrediting those people to another group.
Thus itās not a real group.
True but same goes for the left woke. On a deeper level no political group is a real group in terms of being a clearly defined set of people because interests and identities differ. I get you point though. There are differences between both terms.
I think a lot of people on the left took on the label of woke. Especially after that childish gambino song. In an effort to be a part of a group.
At least thatās how I remember it happening in 2016 era political landscape.
How this nomenclature has remained relevant for this long is a mystery to me. And yeah sure you could say itās been around since the 70s (maybe even before) but I think itās gone through multiple changes in core meaning.
Either way. I think youāre correct in saying the group wonāt be clearly defined. But one clearly aims to be a group and the other is being told theyāre a group by outsiders.
Ultimately, I think it comes down to identity and the desire for moral superiority. Wokism is just one variation of this phenomenon. Some people use it as a means to belong to a group, while others use it to separate themselves from a group. In general, I agree. It has probably always existed and will continue to do so.
