I was tired of the ATM with MSTR among other things. Sometimes it really feels like Strategy are just making it up as they go. I thought about it and long term, I’d rather just hold IBIT. It feels like a little less counterparty risk. Right now I get the impression the BTCTC will run their companies into the ground just trying to keep the price of BTC from going down. I’ll probably be wrong and MSTR is about to rip lol.
Discussion
I’d like to have more dialogue about covered call strategies. I keep toying with this idea of using the current financial system to Bitcoiners’ advantage. The IRA is the king vehicle for this imo because of the tax advantages. One idea I’ve had is continuously rolling the covered calls forever, then moving the premiums into another IRA where you can hold your own keys. No worries about proof of reserves, rehypothication, etc. Sort of a guerrilla warfare version of investing where you attack and retreat, attack and retreat. If anybody has any ideas or is interested please speak up.
