It outperforms lightning for use in a private and sovereign way. Managing liquidity is terrible so most people use custodial solutions for lightning.

Opening a channel takes 5 clicks on Zeus Wallet, managing liquidity is not that hard.

Use cashu for privacy. Monero has it's own blockchain, so what? It doesn't hold value enough to give to your grandchildren so what's the point?
Cashu is still in beta or whatever. I've lost sats with it. I will give it another shot in a few months.

Isn't cashu custodial? Also how many layers do we need before we finally get private, non-custodial Bitcoin. Also you don't have to be all or nothing. That's my point. You can use monero for transacting and Bitcoin for savings.
