Just dropped the first episode of my new podcast Commute and Compute — quick 10-15 min episodes recorded on my drive to work. No filters, no edits, just me thinking out loud as I work through life, dev, philosophy, whatever’s on my mind.

Episode is up: “You were made to enjoy work”

Give it a listen & let me know what you think.

I love this concept! we need more "regular person" (sorry for assuming) podcasts.

added this one to my queue! looking forward to checking it out.

This is such a cool concept of a podcast, and so easy to produce. I've thought a lot about making a whatever-I-want-to-talk-about show, but it's highly likely I would just quit or be super inconsistent, and might hate it. But this particular format especially is such a good idea!

Thanks bro! I’m in the drivers seat anyway wasting time. This way, I don’t really have to carve out that extra time, mics, gear etc. I get my thoughts out in 10-15 minutes or so and if people feel like there’s value then cool. If not, just dismiss.

That's awesome, and so economical!! Like how bitcoin mining takes advantage of otherwise unused energy, you're taking advantage of your thoughts while driving to convey them to listeners who appreciate them.

💯% ….Using my time as effectively as I can

This was awesome. On a side note have you heard of Ora et labora? Might interest you.

Appreciate if you listened. Thanks. I have not…help me out a little

Is was something said by the Benedictians I think, a catholic order, the idea was they concentrated on praying and laboring, and say evil prey on the idle mind, kind of goes along with some of what you say, specialy the part with older people having worst late lifes because they didn't work; labor, or work in this case help invigorating the body and "feel" alive, improving older people's life and reducing sickness.

Interesting. I’m sure this has been studied by much more intellects than myself. But it’s right in-line with what I stated.

Glad to spread some knowledge, will be expecting the next Commute and Compute.

It’ll be coming. I have a long night ahead of me in my truck tonight. Let’s see if I record another one. Thanks for the love…spread the word.
