Question for bitcoin peeps - is there a way to create an invoice that is static to a USD amount, but ends up paying out in bitcoin? (Does my question make sense?)

How? Looking to have an amount, $100 for example, that I create a request for and then whenever someone completes that request, could be same day, could be same week, or longer - the price I’m paid in bitcoin is the same USD amount I requested

I can. Are you sure that invoice will remain $100.00 for anyone that scans it anytime later? I have a feeling it will just remain 157,820 sats, no matter where the USD exchange rate goes.
Boardwalk cash might have something like this in the ecash space. I know they're doing something fancy with discreet log contracts.

Yup, this is in the BOLT 12 spec, but I don't know which wallets implement this yet...
