Haven't had a reason to mute anyone yet. Most npubs I've encountered so far have been cool enough. I've probably BEEN muted by a few already though.

I’ve muted (and unmuted) a lot. Sometimes certain people get too noisy, adding nothing productive. Unfollowing removes them from your feed, which is usually the first thing I try. But if they insist on replying with bullshit/noise, then muting is necessary.
I usually only mute people who are like genuine neo-Nazis and shit, and people who just wanna argue
