With your kids, what you say doesn’t make much of a difference to how they turn out.
It’s what you do.
They become what they saw you do.
For a while, for about 15 years, you have to become the person you want them to be. They have to see you be that person before they can become that person.
I was a long way down the path before I realised this. Don’t normalise hours of silent screen time after dinner. Before you know it, they’re gone. You can shitpost when they’re at college.
