I think Apple removed these apps from AppStore because they were not paying Apple 30% of all zapb so dev had to remove the zaps from their app. Bur I'm not 100% sure it's the complete and accurate story, I don't have any iPhone.

Would be similar to Apple charging 30% on all payments made via Twint. And the apps are still in the App Store but I simply can’t zap anymore.
