Yeah, come to think of it, the word cents is probably more used than the ¢ symbol in writing at least from what I have seen.
Why do even need a special symbol for sats, sats is already the shorterned version of the word.

It's literally an S which is the first letter of the word.
The symbol already exists.
It would only be confusing for people in countries that use dollars.
