Tall freezers are convenient, but they fail much more than chest freezers. I’ve never had a chest freezer last less than 20 years, the stand ups last maybe 5-10 years…I’ll never buy another one.
I've actually thought about building a small walk in instead of having 3-6 chest freezers when I build my house.
