I have no reason to try Bitchat. I hear people saying that it's not actually mesh. It doesn't have the same communication abilities (Briar has forums, etc, in the app), and doesn't use wifi.

Yeah. Its neat if you're at an event and a number of people are using it... But use case is limited. 🤷♂️ Plus Jack built in internet/nostr REAL quick... Because mesh style Bluetooth use case is so niche.
Just feels like a reiteration of things that already exist. Meh.
