Once all shitcoins die and scammers have nowhere to go, they will turn to #bitcoin and start creating #eCash mints to rugpull newbies.

Yeah very plausible scenario. I was thinking about that lately.
Thanks to recent developments there are multiple options they can choose from:
- create shitcoins on top of the lnd Taproot assets.
- create cashu mints and rugpull people
- create "Bitcoin L2s" that are just fancy multisigs with unilateral rugpull function
