They clearly have no real understanding of how the XRP blockchain actually works. Their grasp of blockchain technology, and I hate to even use that term, is so shallow that they can’t comprehend the most basic concepts.

They’re unaware of the blockchain trilemma, and don’t even realize that XRP validators must apply to Ripple in order to participate, a permissioned system by definition. And yet, they’re fully convinced it’s decentralized because some guy named Mikle on YouTube “explains it really well.” So well, in fact, that they’re completely unable to articulate any of it themselves.

It was painful to listen to them.... but I now understand how XRP is staying alive, by sucking value out of boomers who don't know any better.
