I mean, the idea is that the pixel was that the hardware was the most open available. But the fact that one of the main devs got harassed & driven out for being too rude or something is the most concerning IMO. That seems like the sort of tactics that would likely be used to corrupt a project.

I agree that it is suspect. But I don’t know enough about security to make a detailed criticism. There is some degree of trust required. I trust that the weaponized autists will discover any loophole or spying that exists and will spread it.
