Yeah, it's overhyped bc it was the first nostr client on iOS.
overhyped? damus is a performant, stable, a largely feature complete client developed by a principled and highly competent programmer.

It’s what I use. I love it.
I use nostr:npub1n0stur7q092gyverzc2wfc00e8egkrdnnqq3alhv7p072u89m5es5mk6h0 … cause search, and multiple accounts, and why not? Nostr has a few clients for iOS. Damus is nice.
Fun fact: Damus was named after Nostradamus. Get it?
