maybe it's just the perspective out of europe that doesnt let me understand the problem. we do not have to deal with these things (mass shootings e.g.), nobody is armed.

by the way i'm absolutely impressed that we can have a dialogue here on nostr to a very difficult topic without yelling something about each others moms. i like that. thats a massive win. cheers to you bro, we won't find a solution together but i can understand you and respect your opinion even though i dont share it.

I mean… I live in a rural gun friendly place so I don’t have to deal with them either. Most people are armed. Crime rates are extremely low. Everybody waves & says hello. Lots of people leave doors unlocked. Etc

Exactly. The places where fiat money flows the fastest become the most unlivable. People feel trapped, the culture rots, & they turn to drugs & violence as a means of escape & revenge.
