one of the most interesting plants! figs and fig wasps have been co-evolving for 90 million years! the figs rely on the wasps for pollination. the wasps die in the process. so v technically not vegan but v delish.

Wow. I butchered our fig this spring. May have been a bit ambitious.

I did the same. Dang thing is sensitive. Best for me to leave it alone. Good thing it'll come back.

Bummer! Usually if you trim them up while they are dormant they come back with a vengeance.

What varieties do you grow up there?
