Nostr is a public space, not your property to choose who uses it. If you want to be a gatekeeper this may not be the place for you.

Straw manning a bit there ๐Ÿ˜‰

One of the beautiful things about nostr is that anyone can use this tool - and that will have more positive externalities than negative ones โ€” but I think the OP makes a good point, that muting (ie looking away) is not a sufficient solution for some of the heinous stuff that appears here.

I donโ€™t know the solution when it comes to nostr. Good people being good people will go a long way.

Relay hosts and operators of services like nostr.build can choose to maintain healthy and humane content policies.

If those policies are to strict you can find another relay etc.

But I agree that the long-term/widespread adoption of nostr will warrant solutions. Just, freedom oriented solutions.
