The ā€œOther Stuffā€ keeps getting better. Last week I did Nostr without Notes using only other stuff. I’ll be doing this more often with the amount of development going on.

Can you give an example of what that actually means?

Keen to learn

I did a week without twitter replacement clients.

Used Fountain, Wavlake, Hable, Ox, Zap.Cooking, Nostr.Build, Tunestr and etc.

Used Nostr through the other stuff.

Nice. So as a content creator I can look at

Fountain (not iTunes)

Wavlake (not spotify)

Habla (not substack)

Etc

I think one of the reasons I got burnt out on previous platforms is the sense of how futile one’s audience actually is, you don’t own it, & it can be removed at the drop of a hat

Plenty to work on!

And plenty more is coming. It’s a veritable torrent around here. I can’t keep up. Not even close.

In a way, it’s like we forked the internet from 1994 and are rebuilding all that came after that again. This time without ā€œwalled garden building materialsā€.

Keep up boomer!

I’ll be honest… as much as you are on top of the news and updates via Bitcoin And… There’s no way in hell anyone can keep up with the projects and news of the Nostr ecosystem. And we just know the English projects. Who knows what’s going on in Japan, Thailand, etc. šŸ˜‚šŸ¤™šŸ»

No shit! God I love this thing.

I made this gif a long time ago.

Still relevant.

Dark Forests are the best biomes

The strangest, most unique creatures are there

I like this concept of rewinding to the 90s & starting again

It frames the amount of potential value creation ahead

But we’re obviously well aware of the problems ahead if not built right

NostrApps.com is a solid list to play around with.

Keep in mind this projects are still being built for the most part. Nice to jump around from time to time and see development.

Here’s a little graphic I made which highlights the vast array within the ecosystem. There are a lot more now since I made that and the list continues to grow. šŸ¤™šŸ»

Here your network of people is already built into every new app, that's the best part.

Yeah it’s very much a mind bender when you try to figure it out for the first time
