Probably owe it to #hpp up North East

But #chiangmai adoption looks disappointing for merchants. I hope that festival nostr:npub16yfsmpekrwswetq8c8lzqnp3m5c0wg3mdj5ftxwzus2vz6an62sszrrzy8 that will be organized will change things.

I think there are some merchant areas in Chiang Mai which may be more receptive to Bitcoin payments. Name-drop incoming:

- Nimman (obviously); Wrap Master, Smoothie Blues, Beast Burger and Pizza, Free Bird Cafe, etc.

- West of the Ping river there's Blue Diamond, and I recall a night market on Changklan but I don't remember the name. Perhaps it's Ploen Ruedee.

Cool you should let nostr:npub1c9r9lad84kpqwnh09u58vdzwnfsnxcr7a40uf5ulkpdguq4667jsgaxu4k know. He’s the #Bitcoin guy up North.

I love beast burger and free bird.

free bird might be great if he did partner up with nostr:npub13rvvn5g23anm09kwnya8qvzqejxfajfa56rnn47ck5l96ke6cq4sdcd4e0 because they do support Myanmar refugees a lot.

doesn't seem to support the Lightning Network though and is therefore quite unusable ... imagine standing at a shop and having to wait 10+ minutes for a payment. Great idea really, but very limited usability in RL so far :(

what do you mean.. it seems to work fine from many peoples point of view.. I do use it as a liquidity provider but its hard to win bids for orders.

managed to get a 1000 baht order though
