A tale of 2 #bitcoin gifts:

Gift 1: sent directly to a bitcoin wallet. Instant & nearly free.

Gift 2: sent to CashApp wallet. App asked for user's social security number to send the bitcoin elsewhere.

Huge difference in UX and privacy. Actually using Bitcoin is way better than custodial options!

Same with Revolut in Europe. Asking for the full name of the owner of the recipient bitcoin address... Completely stopped using Revolut for Bitcoin DCAing after that.
