It's just a pet opinion of mine, I haven't thought about it from first principles or anything. Retweets are never the most interesting content on twitter, either on my feed or when looking through my own tweets. They just add noise, and content recommendations based on social graph can be accomplished lots of other ways.

I agree. I am finding that I spend a lot of time scrolling past the same reposts from people I am following.
I was checking out the explore tab on coracle today and I really like how I can explore curated content from people I follow.
I suppose this is another way content recommendations from my social graph can be accomplished without boggy down the main feed.
I really like how you’ve laid out replies in coracle too. It’s much easier to follow the replies on notes from people I follow. The feed has got much quicker too!
