Electric heating is already very sustainable in Norway, as most of our electricity comes from hydroelectric plants. We have plenty of that here, no gas never made much sense, except in cabins who are not connected to the grid.

My in-laws have kitted out their house with both ground heat and solar panels on the roof. It's not gonna take many years to make up the cost. Great stuff

I think it in a lot of ways, you and I are very lucky to be alive at this time. You will get to see more of the back end of this change than I will, but seeing the world changing to more sustainable and healthy technology is a real privilege.
