Disagree - gigantic distraction and annoyance. If I want help I want it from a real person, not a pattern-recognition model. Watch as companies quickly scale that back after “customers” find a thousand new ways to make the company look really bad by abusing their chatbots.

but some customers the AI could help

Well, I would agree with the “option”, but I am more expecting the pushing of AI (to showcase something to Wall Street, the boss, investors, etc.) will turn into malicious abuse by users. Then the businesses will all blame the tool, then the gov’t must get involved, then my tax dollars get taken to “fix the problem”. I know, I’m feeling really cynical today! 😂
