Someone asked me to suggest a book for her husbands bd whom is a game designer. Suggested "The Making of Prince of Persia" and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_the_Beginning..._Was_the_Command_Line; if he is over 35 and remember "in the beginning" days.
