lol why is this always the argument?

“I don’t want to read the news on a computer, I want to hold it in my hand”
It’s a fine preference to have, but the majority of the world will transition digitally.
I would argue it from the other direction. Bitcoin is real because of proof of work but let’s focus on what they know:
A debit card isn’t “real”
Bank accounts are digital currency with 1 “node” -your account is whatever it says on the bank’s computer. The bank or government could change it at will.
If they argue paper cash, then sure it works right? For how long? How much cash is there?
