Proof of identity, eh? Might be useful to a lot of people. So long as it is optional, I'm a happy camper.
People keep thinking that Bitcoin is under attack. Bitcoin cannot be attacked. The Bitcoin network does not belong to any of us, it is beyond control. There is nothing to worry about. People who gripe about what people do with their own Bitcoin are just not getting it.
