I want appliances with just mechanical tech and no digital or computing power. Just give me options for the old stuff

Almost worth it. It will last much longer. If I had the knowhow, time, and resources I would just go and retrofit old machines to fit the niche
I'd like to think things will come full circle and companies will start producing "old school" options again, but that's probably too optimistic since consumers won't have to buy a new appliance every 5 years. Commercial appliances are probably the closest mechanical tech available now.
Smart washer and dryer are the worst. Haven't been so disappointed with a purchase since I bought DASH at $600 🤣
