I read that the Norwegian government paid farmers to halt egg production to "not flood the market" or something like that. Is that correct nostr:npub18a63c0ht3xyc577yj3jh2fu7dplj0uzrhlw00lqg9uwzzwq6f89qej7r8q? European egg farmers has also had problems with bird-flu which makes import hard too?
Yes, I think that’s part of the problem. Last year there was to much production so the government paid farmers to not overproduce, and now it’s not enough to meet demand.
The government in Norway has been doing everything wrong in the last couple of years.
Guess that big pension fund of yours ain’t helping you much now huh? lol.
Just kidding. Come to Denmark. I got like 12 eggs in my fridge and can get lost more at my local.
