I think Nostr people are more inclined to be optimistic for the future or at least willing to fight/build for a more free world.
Like Bukele said, we can’t be pessimistic and give up our dreams.
I think a general attitude of optimism is essential to get ahead in this world. Optimism is about hope. It sees opportunities more clearly. Optimism allows for risk taking. Without taking risks the chances of success are severely curtailed. At least, that's been my life's experience.

Arguing on Twitter has sharpened my thought process, and also given me a nice window into peoples minds. I’ve had it valuable. Surely, eventually they’re gonna figure out mastodon is unsustainable and come here. But it’ll be a long time.
As for collaborating on here, I’m excited to see what’s to come. So far compared to gettr or mastodon, the energy, vibe and adoption have skyrocketed and continue to grow. User experience is generally excellent, all told, considering the new tech.

Very interesting question! I think it’s partly due to this intangible feeling if not being ‘lorded over’ by a billionaire-ized centralized ownership, so there is way more a feeling of being free. Ppl can say whatever the eff they want. Also, the ability to transact with freedom money is huge too.
And quite honestly, it kind of feels like that feeling when the teacher left the room in elementary school. Yes! Big exhale! We are free! Only with nostr, the teacher doesn’t ever come back. 😀
And taking it one step further, is the feeling we get any different from that an entire population gets when a dictator is swept from power (in nostr’s case, a centralized authority) and revolution successfully takes hold? I say, no, it is not. Nostr embodies the ecstasy and vitality of revolution. Nostr IS revolution.
