But AFAIK none of the big clients support it. Yesterday I noticed it in action on #[5]‘s profile at nostr.build, but haven’t asked him how he set it up.
Badges could also be another status / credentialing tool depending on how they’re used. The issue is knowing which badges mean something significant.
I could see those two things working together, earn a badge for linking. #[3] could issue badges.
don’t love the centralized domain system, but it does work and scale better than a general mark. I think will talked about removing the checks from damus. I’d like to use my domain hack as a my only “name” crossed nostr. And bluesky has proven this is a very popular method of identifying. A little bit of old internet is ok.
I agree. I think Will needs to read that article and think about what motivates people to participate in social media.
